Grubs and Ladders

  1. Kia ora Ben, thanks for sharing your time at the beach. I beat you burnt some energy going up and down those sand dunes to make your ladder. I really liked the footage of the grub ad the end. Did you ever get that huge log out of the sand? Elizabeth K

  3. Hi Ben, I really enjoyed your slide show of your time in the sand dunes. I thought you were very clever to make a ladder for getting up and down the dunes. That log look liked it had been buried for a long time. I wonder what type of grub that was?

  4. Hi Ben. What great fun you had at the beach. Those logs you moved to make the ladder look very heavy. It was awesome how you added the video of the grub burrowing into the sand. Lucky some hungry seagull didn't come along!

  5. Hi Ben, I loved watching the grub burrow into the sand. I tried to go bug hunting at the beach the other day but I had no success. Can you give me any advice?

    1. Hi Nicole! If you want to find a bug you have to find it under driftwood and you have to find it under some plants. The grub I found will turn into a beetle, that's why you might not see it as a grub, it might have already changed.
